National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Signs MoU with GOTNI for Leadership Development Partnership

As Nigeria gradually promises hope for her citizens by shunning corrupt practices and celebrating merit, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has moved further to make Leadership training a core part of the mandatory exercise for all graduate-participants.

The NYSC boss, Brig. Gen J.B Olawumi, honoured his commitment to see corps members become even better custodians of nationhood and enterprise through a value reorientation and so signed an MoU with Nigeria's foremost leadership and attitudinal development organisation, Guardians of the Nation International (GOTNI) on Oct. 16 to train corps members in the 36 states of the federation and the those serving in the FCT.


Yesterday, in a media conference, the MoU was signed by NYSC represented by the Director General, Brig Gen J.B Olawumi and GOTNI president, Linus Okorie.

It is supposed to be a new phase of value, added to the NYSC program especially as the merits of the initiative have been actualised and is even further boosted.

Other witnesses at the ceremony were GOTNI team members, Frank Uzo Ehichanya, Helen Chukwu, Somto Mbelu, Simisola Ojo and Barr. Ikechukwu Uzoma apart from gentlemen of the Press.
